Loren was born and raised in Yakima, Washington and spent his early years on his grandparents’ orchard in Selah. He has been involved in the fruit industry for nearly 30 years with a wide range of experience. He has been with Tree Connection since 2016 consulting with growers and researchers to get the trees orchardists need when they need them.
His background with Washington’s largest fruit grower-packer-marketer and their partners has enabled him to provided valuable insights for growers as they look to modernize their operations and diversify their crops to meet consumer demand. This includes crops such as nuts and winegrapes.
